About

“Preparation determines success”

After being admitted to the roll of barristers and solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand, I started my legal career in 2004 doing criminal defence and prosecution work. I spent three years in Auckland practising as a criminal barrister, then relocated to Wellington in 2007 to work on legal policy and law reform for central government.

From 2009 to 2022, I was in the dispute resolution team at a national law firm, providing litigation support to the firm’s North Island offices. As a senior litigator, I dealt with a broad range of civil and commercial disputes, corporate insolvency matters and regulatory prosecutions.

Practice

Following approval by the New Zealand Law Society to practise as a barrister sole and gaining mediation accreditation, I commenced practising on my own account as both a barrister and mediator in 2023.

While my practice is located in Grey Lynn, Auckland, I frequently travel to the Waikato and offer my services across New Zealand.
